Private Pilot:

The first step in your pilot career, this license allows you to be the pilot in command (PIC) of a single engine aircraft. You can carry passengers and fly on nice, clear weather days.

Instrument Rating:

This rating allows you to fly solely based on the airplane instruments in inclement weather.

Time Building Phase:

This is the stage where you will build PIC time in order to meet FAA minimums for your commercial certificate after obtaining your private pilot’s license and instrument rating.

* CESSNA: Includes the Technically Advanced Aircraft time in the Cessna 172S

Commercial Pilot:

The commercial license allows you to really enhance and polish your skills as a pilot. You are now able to carry passengers or cargo for compensation or hire.

CFI Program:

Becoming a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) is an excellent step for pilots looking to gain extensive flight experience while teaching others to fly. As a CFI, you’ll help train students of all levels, conduct flight reviews, lead proficiency checks, and facilitate ground training sessions.

CFII Program:

Becoming a Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) lets you teach pilots advanced skills for flying in instrument conditions. You’ll provide IFR-focused instruction, guide students toward their instrument rating, and conduct instrument proficiency checks.

* Please note that this estimate is based on the FAA minimums. It is uncommon to complete your training in this amount of time.
