Flight Training Programs

Our Programs are Designed to Equip You with the Necessary Skills and Knowledge to Excel in the Aviation Industry.

We offer a comprehensive range of flight training programs, including Private Pilot License (PPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), and customized transition courses.

We also have an advanced RealSimGear Cirrus SRx Simulator available at our main Scottsdale location.

Private Pilot Program (PPL)

There is no greater thrill or sense of accomplishment than learning how to fly. The freedom and satisfaction of flying an airplane is achievable with the right training, location, and aircraft. Click to learn more about our Private Pilot Program (PPL).

Instrument Pilot Program

Earning an instrument rating allows pilots to fly safely in a wider range of weather conditions (such as flying through clouds) by relying on instruments instead of visual cues. The FAA requires a minimum of 40 hours of flight training under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) to achieve this rating.

Commercial Pilot Program

Our Commercial Pilot License (CPL) program is your pathway to a rewarding career in aviation. With a CPL, you can be compensated for your flying skills, opening doors to opportunities in fields like charter flying, aerial tours, agriculture, and eventually, major airlines.

Flight Instructor

Becoming a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) is an excellent step for pilots looking to gain extensive flight experience while teaching others to fly.

As a CFI, you’ll help train students of all levels, conduct flight reviews, lead proficiency checks, and facilitate ground training sessions.

Transition Courses

We offer customized one-on-one transition courses to transition to any aircraft or avionics suites.

Our most popular courses are our Cirrus Transition Courses, offered in our Cirrus SR20 and SR22 aircraft for pilots at any experience level.

Flight Review

Keeping your flying skills sharp and ensuring your certifications are up-to-date are essential parts of responsible piloting. At SEFT, we offer comprehensive Flight Reviews, Aircraft Checkouts, and Instrument Proficiency Checks (IPC) to help you meet FAA requirements, maintain proficiency, and increase your confidence in the cockpit.

DISCOVERY FLIGHTS

The Best Introduction to Your Pilot Training is to Take a Discovery Flight

On your discovery flight, you’ll get the chance to get your hands on the controls! Your instructor will guide you through the required pre-flight inspection and prepare the aircraft for flight. Then, with the help of an instructor you will get to fly the aircraft.
